Mississippi Shakedown is a powerhouse indie/garage/rockabilly duo, formed in October 2010. The band tours regularly throughout the Southeastern United States. MS Shakedown released their debut album in December 2011, entitled, "Passer By".

Mississippi Shakedown has opened for artists such as Luther Dickinson (the Black Crowes, N. Ms Allstars), THE WHIGS, Anders Osborne (Grammy-winning Songwriter and Producer), Greensky Bluegrass, Jimbo Mathus and the Tri-State Coalition, The Congress, Sol Driven Train, Duwayne Burnside and many others.
